3rd Edition - Expanding impact

The East Midlands Gospel Music Festival (EMGMF) 2026 marks the third edition of a growing cultural event that brings together communities across Derby and the wider region through music and shared creative experiences.

Building on previous success, the festival will take place at a larger venue, reflecting its increasing reach and demand. The programme will feature a diverse mix of local and international artists, alongside opportunities for emerging talent to perform and connect with wider audiences.

EMGMF forms part of Connect Outreach CIC’s wider programme of workshops, mentoring, and creative development, supporting young people and underrepresented artists to build skills, confidence, and pathways into the creative industries.

The festival promotes access to arts and culture, community cohesion, and inclusive participation, creating a welcoming space for people from all backgrounds.

As it continues to grow, EMGMF is becoming an important part of the region’s cultural landscape, delivering meaningful and accessible creative experiences for the community
